2012 CRC Speedshow

GREENLANE, Auckland, New Zealand – Positive steps ahead as an agreement has been reached to incorporate the National Hot Rod Show as part of the diverse automotive mix of 2012 CRC Speedshow at the ASB Showground’s on the 21st & 22ndof July 2012.
The New Zealand Hot Rod Association (NZHRA) is celebrating its 50th year this year and this will be billed as the “50th Anniversary National Show”. It’s a show that will attract New Zealand’s best hot rods and custom vehicles representative of fifty years of organised hot rodding in New Zealand.
The opportunity to be incorporated with CRC Speedshow is a huge milestone for the two organising clubs; Harbour City Rod Club (Glen Eden) and Southside Streeters (Howick). The two clubs both have excellent background in hot rod event organisation and marketing and saw mutual benefit for the CRC Speedshow and New Zealand hot rodding itself.
“CRC Speedshow attracts a wide variety of automotive enthusiasts and this will be the first time in a long time that we have had the opportunity to promote the NZHRA and New Zealand rodding to an audience of this size”, said NZHRA Zone 2 (Auckland) director and hot rod show chairman, Ian McNeill of Harbour City Rod Club.
CRC Speedshow is NZ’s best quality automotive show and the hot rods on display will add to the professional image of CRC Speedshow itself. Already, there are a number of vehicles expected to make their official public debut at Greenlane in July.
